Chicago, IL – Quest Design Group (QDG) was selected to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for Jefferson Place, a 16-story mixed-use building located at 5306 West Ainslie Street in Chicago, Illinois.
Continuing the revitalization of downtown Jefferson Park, Jefferson Place is the third largest apartment complex near the Jefferson Place Transit Center since 2016. The structure will have 7,300 SF of retail space on the first floor, parking on floors 2-6, and a total of 114 residential units on floors 7-15. The top floor will have amenities and a fitness center.
The engineering drawings submitted for permit by QDG call for the building to be heated and cooled by a hot water/cooling tower heat pump system. “This project has been in the making for four or five years,” says Ruben De La Fuente, Vice President of Operations for QDG’s home office in Oak Brook, Illinois. “This new building will help transform the neighborhood. It’s an honor for QDG to contribute to the ongoing renaissance happening in Jefferson Park.”
