SARASOTA, FL — Quest Design Group (QDG) is pleased to announce that Robert Cave, currently the Vice President of Operations for the firm's Sarasota office, has been selected to open and establish QDG’s new office in Tampa.
“Bob is the ideal person to get this new office up and running,” said Michael Janis, QDG’s President and CEO. “He’s been with QDG for 25 years now. He knows the company inside and out, and he knows the southwest Florida market equally well. We’re extremely fortunate to have him in this role.”
With over 40 years of engineering experience, Bob is the most senior employee at QDG. He joined the company in 1994, as a senior mechanical engineer, and in the years since has developed an encyclopedic knowledge of southwest Florida’s climate, codes, and contractors.
He’s spent the last several years overseeing the operational aspects of QDG’s Sarasota office, including administration, staffing, engineering sales, workload, invoicing and collections. He has also worked hard coordinating project schedules and requirements with owners, architects and developers by way of implementation with in-house project managers and staff.
Located at 212 West Beach Place, Unit 1, Tampa, FL 33606, the Tampa office is QDG’s third regional location, in addition to its offices in Sarasota and Nashville and its Chicago-area headquarters.
